HOSPITAL RENOVATION FOR PACT MODEL

NEW CONSTRUCTION TO SUPPORT PATIENT ALIGNED CARE TEAM MODEL IN VA MEDICAL CENTER

6,330 sq ft reimagined for full-service clinical work and care.

PACT is the cornerstone of the New Models of Care initiative that is intended to transform the way Veterans receive care. PACT assists VHA in transforming Veterans' care by providing patient-driven, proactive, personalized, team-based care focused on wellness and disease prevention resulting in improvements in Veteran satisfaction, improved healthcare outcomes, and costs. The PACT model is built on the well-known concept of the patient-centered medical home staffed by high-functioning team

When Richard Group was asked to help renovate the B-MOD at the Oklahoma City VA Medical Center (VAMC) to make room for PACT, we were eager to get to work. Patient Aligned Care Team (PACT) is a new program that aims to improve healthcare outcomes, cost, and Veteran satisfaction through personalized, whole-person care.

The new construction includes exam rooms, laboratory and specimen collection areas, administrative offices, and a refreshed lobby and waiting area.

Richard Group demolished and renovated the 6,330 sq. ft. of the existing clinical space. Our commitment to safety ensured that our team worked to get the job done as effectively and efficiently as possible.

We couldn’t be more thrilled to play a part in implementing the VA’s Patient Aligned Care Team (PACT) initiative. Our veterans deserve quality care for lifelong health and wellness, and we are happy to lend our support through thoughtful and functional construction.
