CHICAGO, IL, MAY 11, 2022—Inc. Magazine recently listed Richard Group among the prestigious list of honorees for The Best Places to Work in the United States. Richard Group also received the coveted #1 ranking as The Best Place to Work for Construction in Illinois. Along with that, Richard Group is one of eleven Construction Companies across the nation and one of three General Contractor’s to receive this award on the Inc. 5000 Best Places to Work Companies list.
The annual list recognizes the country’s top companies that have gone above and beyond to “reimagine what a thriving business should feel like.”
Inc. 5000 decided to focus this year on businesses that were “adept at reshaping their culture to take care of their talent—physically and psychologically.” the organization noted that, of the 475 companies that made the cut, “people work for them not because they have to, but because they want to” (inc magazine).

METHODOLOGY
The 2022 Inc. 5000 Regional are ranked according to percentage revenue growth when comparing 2018 and 2020. To qualify, companies must have been founded and generating revenue by March 31, 2018. They had to be U.S.-based, privately held, for-profit, and independent—not subsidiaries or divisions of other companies—as of December 31, 2019. (Since then, several companies on the list have gone public or been acquired.) The minimum revenue required for 2018 is $100,000; the minimum for 2020 is $1 million.
